miss koty is eighteen years old and just moved here to start her freshman year of college. she's grown up riding horses, as her mom owns a barn in savannah, ga. as a show jumper she's quite talented, especially since her mom was her trainer and she competed grand prix before switching tracks to breeding. her horse, captain america, is home bred and the absolute love of her young life. basically koty is ditzy, flamboyant, and incredibly dramatic. however, when it comes to horses she looses all of her wishy washy tendencies and settles down with a determination and tenacity that can be quite frightening for people who have never seen her in that situation before. right now she is living with her older brother, indiana.
friend wise i can definitely seeing her having lots and lots of people who think are her friends, but that she secretly thinks are kind of annoying and just doesn't show it. however, she does need one or two really really close friends. since she's fairly out going there aren't really any age or gender restrictions on friends since she would probably talk to a brick wall if people wouldn't think she was crazy. enemies are probably pretty likely as well just because she is so energetic and crazy. she has a few issues knowing when its appropriate to say what, aso that might result in some dislike, but not any 'holy shit i want to slit your throat' kind of things, that seems a little extreme. as for love and boyfriends and flings and such, bring it on. she's pretty flirty, mostly unintentionally but what happens happens. nothing too serious since she's pretty young. also, they would have to compete with cappy and that's pretyt much a loosing battle no matter what. any drama that can be kicked up in this little girl lies life would be absolutely fantabulous.

indy is, as you've probably guessed, named after indiana jones. he's a twenty-six year old recently graduated large animal vet. because of that he's often out and about and not really around in his little sister's life. however, it also means he's probably met a lot, if not most, of the people who live around Chaucer. when he was younger he eventide his horse; dance, dance; but when he was twenty one they crashed. they had moved up to CCI *** and were about half-way through the cross-country course when dee scrambled in the muddy take-off and somersaulted over a large table. she was pronounced lame for the rest of her life and he broke his back. doctors told him he could never ride again. now he's forced to watch his little sister excel at exactly what is denied for him forever. he still has his faithful mare and has bred her occasionally, resulting in his sister's horse. because of his accident he is slightly reserved and quiet, with a rather stern demeanor. he is incredibly protective of koty and lets it be known.
it will probably be difficult for indy to make friends, but i'd like for him to have at least one or two people he could confide in or meet at a barn or something. i don't really think anyone would hate him per say, but maybe just be upset because they think he's arrogant? i'm not really sure. i'd love love love for him to meet somebody who's happy and optimistic and helps him stop being so morose. sooo girlfriends are defiantly a must. finals are definitely a possibility too.
