READ AND REMEMBER. i'll keep this as short and simple as possible, i know you're probably already tired of reading the rules. the owner of pine hollow is regina randall, just for reference. anyone on the site (with the exclusion of locals) can have their own horse, with the exception of lesson students. students may lease a farm horse, but cannot own one. once they own a horse, they become boarders. on the other hand, boarders may choose to take part in a weekly lesson. lesson students, once accepted, will be assigned one of the farm's lesson horses by a staff member. there are all sorts of fees from lessons to boarding and showing, but that will be explained below. to keep things a bit interesting, stallions are not allowed unless bought or won, nor are any other farm animals. mares and geldings only. how do you buy a stallion you ask? well, that is where our points system comes in. THE POINTS AND HOW THEY WORK simply enough, every character starts out with a set amount of points, then 5 points are awarded for every IC post. you can also earn points a number of other ways such as receiving site awards, winning shows, donating to another player (you cannot add points from two accounts or transfer between your own characters, it's every man for himself), creating a thread with more than two people, exceptional posts, etc. you can then use these accumulated points to buy stallions, yearlings, special tack to boost your showing edge, other farm animals, or switch a lesson horse. boarders will have a deduction every month for their board as well as students for their lessons. entering shows will also cost an entrance fee for each class entered. locals.... i haven't figure out what to do with your points yet so ideas are welcome. |
